17-June-2007 : Let's Go To Pulau Ubin!!!

Hey peeps!! This week trekking, let's go to Pulau Ubin!! Details as follow:

Date: Sunday, 17th June 2007
Meeting Time: 10 AM
Meeting Place: Changi Jetty, which is near the Changi Village Hawker Centre
(More on how to get there on the Ubin NParks webpage with map of Changi Village jetty)

Menu: We'll have our lunch at Pulau Ubin (will split the cost)

Please be on time to meet at 10am, so that we can leave by 10.30 =)

Oh, saw this quarry from wiki. A friend of mine said the water there is very clear.. but it's deep. Very deep.

List of items to bring or worth to bring:

  1. Hat
  2. Sunglasses
  3. Extra T-shirt / short for change
  4. Face towel / baby wipes
  5. Mozzie repellant
  6. Sun block (it's a must!!)
  7. Water (it's a must!! must!!)
  8. Tit bits
  9. Camera
  10. Pocket knife
  11. Plastic bag & rubber bands (to waterproof your items)
  12. Sufficient cash
  13. Handphone
  14. Map & Compass
  15. Extra slipper / sandal / shoes
  16. First Aid Kit

we'll be there and i may bring a couple of my colleagues. not bringing dogs though. don't wanna stres over them disturbing people there - especially kids.

Oh, wish I could join you guys. But luckily here in my country we have jungle trekking too but it's more hilly & have a steam in the forest too. Cool! Haven't tried out yet but we'll try to make it someday... It's my hoomans who are busy, not me. I'm always free & always ready for an adventure!!! Hehehehe... Hey, you forgot to add one more thing in the list. No squeaky ball??? Hahaha! Have a fun time trekking...

Eve has to go to Australia after her stint in Japan. Maybe after that we will come back to Singapore. I like Singapore because there are so many dogs like me. I feel more at home, there!
