Blackie Happiness

My humans came home late last Saturday. They went to visit Blackie in his new house. He shifted to the fosterer's neighbour house 3 weeks ago. So far so good. The new owners love him very much. Although they are saying Blackie is naughty.. but the way they say it is full of love. Sounds like.. he is naughty but I'm proud of him.

Blackie was so happy to see us again. See how tall he is when he stands on both hind legs. He nearly can kiss daddy cheek.

My humans were impressed on how Blackie look now. Within 3 weeks, his coat is shiny and healthy. He put on lots of weight too. They said Blackie has a very good appetite. See this...

Blackie : I have double collar. Grandpapa put it on for me.

(Blackie: Welcome to my new house!! This is my mummy's leg. Although she speaks quite loud, but I can tell she loves me.)

Blackie's mummy said Blackie loves to follow her out and take a stroll outside by himself. Everytime she opened the gate and drove her car out, Blackie always sneaked out and she has to chase him and bring him back. One day Blackie ran out and went very far, she let him be and closed the gate. In the afternoon, the grandpapa saw Blackie waited outside the gate. Smart boy knows how to come back safely. Now everytime Blackie ran out, they opened up the side gate for him to come back.

The other day Blackie ran out again, and apparently went to nearby coffee shop. He "ta pao" (pack) a package of Nasi Briyani (in a plastic bag) and brought it home (stray never change.. tsk tsk tsk).

Blackie loves it when you stroke his head

And when you stop...

Ah... that's the way

Blackie: This is my granpapa's leg. He always feed me good lots of good food

Blackie: This is my new sister. She's on heat now, so she has to stay in the cage

Blackie: This is my new brother. He is quite barkish.. but he is ok with me.

I'm so glad Blackie at last found his forever home. Special thanks to "SAVING PRIVATE RYAN" team for giving us support all these while. Thank you!!

Black is my colour

I'm waiting and waiting and waiting for Blackie to move in to next door. Everybody had been busy last week during Chinese New Year Period. So adoption issue slightly put on hold. I hope everything will go smoothly in this 2 weeks time.

So nice to see this boy look this happy although he developed some rashes recently. I can really see he put on some weight already.. no more skin & bone.

Oh btw, this mini bull terrier girl is looking for a fosterer, a temporary home where she can stay for about 1 - 2 months while the owner is busy settling down. Anyone can help?? Very gentle in temperament. Only need to clean her eyes daily.

I'm so happy.. YAY-ness

Not only because the chinese new year holiday is coming.. means lots of good food for us.. but today we have good news.. no.. it's a super duper news =D

Just came back from visiting Blackie, he really looks much better. He put on more weight, still look rather skinny.. but way meatier than before. Guess the enzyme is really working. Not only that... the greater news is someone staying in landed house interested to adopt Blackie.. YEAH!!! and the best part is.. that someone.. is the neighbour!!

Few weeks ago mummy got a call from Blackie's fosterer saying Blackie damaged the back door (he was normally confined at the back.. I guess he was trying to go outside for 'business'). There is a huge hole on that old door. So for the pass few weeks, Blackie is free to roam in the garden and makes friend with the neighbour 2 small dogs. Blackie will poke his nose in between the fences and the neighbour grandpa occasionally feed him with food and treat too (now.. I know why he's been putting more weight).

Well.. now I'm more convinced that everything happen for a reason. If Blackie didn't damaged that door, he couldn't spend more time outside and he couldn't have make friend with the neighbour.

Hope everything goes smoothly until Blackie can settle down in his new house... most probably after chinese new year.

For now, mummy is more willing to repair that stupid old, termite invested door. HA!!

No Ball Blackie

After an hour soaping and scrubbing after the hash yesterday (sorry no photo as my human accidently deleted all the precious photos taken), my human decided not to bring us along to visit Blackie (they don't want me to roll on the grass patch there).

No no.. the black dog is not Blackie. These are Junior (Black) and Ginny (black/tan) and they are both for adoption too.

This is Blackie. Purposely taken the photo from the back as to show the empty ball pocket. I used to think that after the castration, the pocket will be removed along with the balls. Then after Suria Brother's castration earlier, I came to know only the balls removed and left the sagging extra wrinkly brown skin, which later on will be disappeared and tighten by itself. Now I wonder why human need to go for face lift =P

Blackie now having 3 girls hovering over him (err after he lost his ability to reproduce kekeke...), Ginny, Junior and including this little MS...

Blackie even let Schnausi climbed over him and took a nip at his fur.

Too happy until cannot walk properly

Blackie while waiting for his food
(We cooked for them rice, veggie with lots of chicken)

Blackie's Happy Face after eating

By the way, Blackie is still for adoption. *sigh* a bad news is we need to think of another place for Blackie as his current fosterer needs to shift house (moving back to HDB) in 2 months time. Any kind soul out there can adopt Blackie? or foster him? *praying hard*

Visiting Blackie on National Day

Gee.. my humans have been so busy lately. We hardly going out on the weekend anymore. Even on National Day holiday, they left me & Suria Brother at home to go & visit Blackie. I told them I wanted to join but they said cannot as they wanted to pay full attention to Blackie. But nevermind, I was quite happy coz I got a share of yummy food (full of meat) which they cooked for Blackie. Mummy said too much so me & Suria Brother got to enjoy too

They told me Blackie was so happy to see them. He can leaped pretty high and because he is so skinny (yes.. he still skinny though), he can leap like a deer (you know with back legs up in the air)... pretty cool huh?!! Here are some pictures of Blackie.

What is that small creature? (getting into suspicious stance)

Hands up!!!! and the boy scream in terror!!!

Hahaha... just kidding!!! See the boy happy face.. he was playing with Blackie. Blackie was very friendly to human.. even to small children. Actually the small boy in the picture is the one often disturb him.

Hiak.. hiak.. hiak... I scared him!!

Blackie is still looking for home. Anyone out there care to give Blackie loving home?!!! I think Blackie is deserve a home.. he is so lovely.

29-APR-06 : YEAH!! No Shower For Me!!

What a boring weekend. Me gotta stay home while my humans and Suria Brother went out. I was so excited when they putting collar on Suria Brother unknowingly I had to guard the house =( Hours later they came back.. well well well.. Suria Brother smell good & fresh. What... he suddenly look slimmer & trimmed. Where did they brought him to? Slimming centre?

When mummy told me Suria Brother went grooming I felt relieve.. phew... u know what this mean??!! It means I didn't have to take shower this week.. YEAH!!! Suria went to Fur n Away for full grooming. Cost about $70 and he came back with slightly reddish *private* area. Poor fella. But overall, they did quite a good job. My humans dropped him at 3.40pm then they went exploring Sembawang area. Then mummy told me about big open field they saw and she wished she brought me there. Yeah.. yeah... as usual.. TALK only =(

While waiting for Suria Brother (he took more than 2 hours), my humans went to visit Blackie. As usual, Blackie so happy to have visitors. He jumped high up tried to kiss their faces (never touch though). The shelter lady said Blackie is a good boy until there is food around.. well.. nothing new.. I fully understand about it.. it's mongrel thing you know =P He slightly (very slightly) put on weight.

Shelter Lady said Blackie is very discipline. He normally out 3-4 times daily for his 'business'. He always pee & poo on the frontyard, do a little bit of sniffing & marking around then off he go back to his quarter (kitchen area near the backyard). Blackie got a job now. He is an official "Pest Controller". His job is to catch rats (and killed it) whenever the rats came to the kitchen. So far he only managed to kill 1 because he hasn't learned how to climb yet.

He looks more active & happy now.

Well well well.. not so happy so soon Blackie, I overheard mummy said she wants to neutralise you since you already healthier... kekeke...
